The Charleston JCC senior program offers transportation, day trips, guest speakers, senior exercise programs, colaborations with other senior organizations in the area, and various other programs.

Day Trips

Walmart
Need to do some grocery shopping, fill prescriptions, gardening supplies, or just plain looking for a bargain? Then join the seniors as we make a trip to Walmart and go out to lunch afterwards. Please RSVP by September 14. top

Chat room and Lunch
After taking a break for the summer Ijo Toporek is back to lead our Chat room program. Talk about issues with your friends while you enjoy a nice kosher lunch. top

West Ashley Senior Center Event
Join other seniors in the area as we gather together for one evening to let our Seniors know what they have to look forward to in having a Senior Center in West Ashley. There will be food, entertainment, door prizes, and Special Guests. This is an event you don’t want to miss! top

Senior Awareness Month
“Take charge of your health: Successful Aging in Place” Aging Resources is sponsoring this event in honor of Senior Awareness Month for seniors in our community at the Dock Street Theater. This event is free and you must RSVP in order to attend. Dr. Ann will be the guest speaker for the evening. top

Super Bingo and Lunch
Calling all Bingo lovers! Join us every month for a delicious kosher lunch, good prizes, and great fun in the JCC Senior Lounge. Play a game of bingo and catch up with the ladies. top

Mah Jongg
Want to learn how to play or already know how and want to join the fun? Join the ladies in the lounge every Monday for Mah Jongg. top

Emanu-El Lunch and Lecture
Emanu-el sponsors a lunch and special guest speaker every month at Synagogue Emanu-el and the JCC transportation gets you there. This program is a favorite and a good time for all Seniors. top
