KidsFair 2012

Connecting Kids to a Healthy Community!

KidsFair is a unique, interactive annual event that fulfills the cultural, educational and social needs of all children in our community, thus fostering community spirit, nurturing creativity and strengthening the family unit.

How Does KidsFair Work?
Families move from exhibit to exhibit (close to 85 in all!) discovering, touching, experiencing and learning. Parking in the adjacent parking garage is free to KidsFair participants. Although admittance to the KidsFair area is gained for a small entrance fee, Everything Else Is Free! Because there are no sponsors selling products, this is an extremely fun and inexpensive day for the entire family. We can provide needed volunteers for our exhibitors, although we encourage your employees to join in by either volunteering or bringing their families to experience this wonderful, unique community event.

Where do the Proceeds from KidsFair Go?
Any funds realized by KidsFair will be allocated to offset scholarship programs at the Jewish Community Center (JCC). Membership scholarships are given to those who wish to participate, but do not have the funds. The JCC never turns anyone away. The major portion of any proceeds recognized from KidsFair go to offsetting the cost of Camp Baker and the scholarships are given to families in need. Proceeds from KidsFair will help children from the TriCounty area. The JCC provides wholesome beginnings for hundreds of children. KidsFair and the JCC are all about family!

Who Does KidsFair Reach?
KidsFair has been bringing over 12,000 Low country children and their families together for 23 years. As we enter our 24th year, we continue to enrich children's lives through hands-on booths produced by area non-profit organizations, plus local businesses and corporate sponsors.
